49300 Series
Chroma’s 49300 Series of filter sets are identical to the 49000 ET single band sets in design and construction, but are intended to be used with common, commercially available FISH probes and chromosome painting probes. These high-throughput ET filter sets are spectrally similar to sets commonly used to detect the family of Spectrum probes from Abbott Laboratories, and similar probes from Cytocell and other manufacturers of genetic assays. Like the 49000 Series, these sets are intended for use with non-laser light sources.

ET - Red#3 Narrow band FISH
Ideal for use with commercially available Red FISH probes and chromosome painting techniques, including mFISH. Red signals will be less bright than those obtained with 49306 or 49310. Intended to completely avoid detection of Orange.
This set allows for more combinations in one hybridization, allowing Red and Orange to be run together when using filter set 49309 for Orange.

ET - Orange#2 FISH
Ideal for use with commercially available Orange FISH probes and chromosome painting techniques. Provides signals intended to be less bright than those obtained with the 49305 set. Intended to balance signal intensities with Green in problematic specimens which are too bright. This set can be used equally well with both Gold and Orange probes to eliminate the need for 2 different filter sets. Gold and Orange cannot be separated in a microscope.

ET - Green#3 Narrow band FISH
4-color FISH assays utilizing Aqua, Green, Gold & Red are becoming increasingly popular. This FISH filter set is intended for detecting Green probes and completely avoiding both Aqua and Gold probes. It is a narrow band set and Green signals will be slightly less bright, but it will isolate Green signals very well.
