Chroma Technology Reduces Carbon Footprint with New Solar Project

Feb 11 2022

Bellows Falls, VT- Chroma Technology is taking a critical step in reducing its carbon footprint with a new solar project just 20 minutes south of our Bellows Falls, Vermont manufacturing facility. Chroma partnered with Green Lantern Solar to develop a solar array that will produce approximately 950,000 kWh per year of clean, solar power. We estimate that this will reduce our carbon footprint by approximately 800,000 pounds of CO2 per year; roughly the equivalent of removing 148 cars from Vermont's roads.

In addition to contributing to a greener environment, this new solar array will reduce our energy costs and benefitted several local business during its development and construction. This project is part of Chroma's ongoing efforts to reduce our energy consumption and honor our commitment to conduct our business in a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable way.
